The tournaments draw more than 200 boats and in the interests of environmental preservation, organizers award significant prizes to those who toss back the most Marlin that would be too small to win the competition. These tournaments have given Cabo San Lucas the distinctive title of Marlin Capital of the World.
In addition to the fabulous sport fishing, those who prefer to stay closer to land, you can explore Cabo San Lucas on horseback. The varied terrain; desert, mountains and beaches, make the horse the perfect mode of transportation. There is a horse for everyone from beginners to experts.
Not to be outdone by fishing, your golf aficionados will be pleased to know that they weren’t forgotten. There are 10 golf courses in Cabo San Lucas and they all have marvelous views of the mountains, desert and ocean.
