Gerry Guhl party from Atlanta, GA catches and releases a 100 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It was attracted and caught on the rigged Ballihoo. The fighting time was 25 minutes. It was caught on the 11-50 Reef. John Dossey party from Bentonville, AR catches and releases two 20 lb. ROOSTERFISH and four SKIPJACK. They were caught inshore the Sea of Cortez. Fishing on the EL BUDSTER PRIDE. The fighting time were 30 and 35 minutes. They also released three 20 lb. ROOSTERFISH and four SKIPJACK. All the fish were caught 14 to 16 miles from Cabo. The water temp. was 77-79 degrees.
